I’ve been eyeing this YSL card case for over a year and was finally able to add it to my collection when my brother offered to purchase it for me for my birthday! Way too good to pass up right? 😛
The YSL card case has the main criteria I like in a cardcase/ SLG: card slots, pocket, and zipped slot.
Specs are as follows (taken directly from ysl.com):
- 100% Calfskin leather
- Dimensions: 7,5 x 11 CM / 2.9 x 4.3 INCHES
- snap-button closure
- interior: one main compartment
- exterior: one zip coin pocket
- five card slots
Details:
When I first received the YSL card case, the leather was really stiff and I was fearful that it would be difficult to use – pull cards in and out/zipped pouch. (Aside from my YSL Bill Pouch, this would be my first YSL wallet that fits all my needs that I could use every day.) When I received my gift, I knew I wanted to use it right away so I put in all the cards and bills that I carry with me on a daily basis – everything fits surprisingly.
After about a week, the leather stretched out and conformed to the cards nicely. As you can see in the photos below, there are indents of where each card was placed. (Sadly, it is no longer in new and mint condition, but now it is perfectly broken into and I love it!) I’ve used the YSL cardcase for 2 months straight and there has been no issues thus far and it fits in all of my bags with ease.
