I fell in love with this particular Louis Vuitton Alma BB in Vernis Leather when I initially saw it in November 2019. The debossed style is so unique and brings such sophistication.
Back Story:
I originally didn’t order the bag because I was headed to Hawaii and hoped that I would be able to purchase it there. Unfortunately, they sold the last one the day after my arrival. I went everyday to Louis Vuitton and asked if it was back in stock, but sadly it was a NO.
When I came back from my vacation, I texted my CA if it was still available, sadly it wasn’t. Apparently it was a “limited holiday collection.” Still, I thought to myself “hey, if it is still on the Louis Vuitton website then there is still HOPE.“ 🙂
For the next 3 months, I would stalk the website in hopes that it would become available. It was a fail every time…(LOL)…until quarantine that is… Louis Vuitton had a lot of items become in stock especially the ‘hard to find’ pieces such as LV Nano Speedy. When I was about to make my purchase on the Nano Speedy, I thought to myself “OH WHAT THE HECK, WHY NOT JUST CHECK ONE MORE TIME” and to my amazement it was in stock and ‘Place in Cart’! I thought it was a glitch, but I went ahead and ordered it anyways. I was a bit fearful that it could of been a return or a defective bag, but was excited regardless.
Arrival:
It finally arrived and BOY OH BOY is she beautiful. I couldn’t believe my eyes at the pure beauty of the Alma BB. The colors, stitching, and details that was put in the craftsmanship of the LV Alma BB Vernis was impeccable. By far the most unique bag in my collection. Glad to verify that it was not defective or returned item since it was made in 2020 and in production at the time.
