The Louis Vuitton Zippy Compact Wallet was my first high-end luxury wallet. I initially saw this wallet when I was researching Louis Vuitton wallets on youtube and stumbled across Jerusha Couture’s channel prior to my purchase. Her video was so in-depth and it answered all of the questions that I had in mind.
At the time it was a toss up between the Louis Vuitton Emilie wallet or the Louis Vuitton Zippy Compact wallet and it was such a tough decision, but what actually sealed the deal for me was when I found out that the Zippy Compact Wallet was going to be discontinued and they were going to come out with a new design. I’ve already been in the situation where an item suddenly became discontinued (which is such a devastating feeling- LOL) and I didn’t want to purchase from the preloved market for the price that it was being listed for.
I’ve had one issue with glazing about a year into having the wallet, but LV was kind enough to reglaze the wallet free of charge. Ever since then, there has been no issues and has exceeded my expectations. Below are photos of the wallet and you can see the reglazed. The Zipper pull has tarnished, but with a little brass cleaner it will clean it right off.
In the end, I don’t regret purchasing this wallet. It has everything I wanted with lots of card slots and compartments, major positive is that my IPhone X fits inside with the wallet zipped (at time of purchase I still had my Iphone 5!).
Pros: compact, lots of credit card slots, coin/change compartment, phones fits inside, flatlay design
Cons: Bill slot a little too deep, discontinued
Verdict: 8/10. Definitely would repurchase this item.

I saw your post in 2021 and I thought how’d you purchase it from lv store when it’s discontinued 😅 I got it preloved after watching Jerusha youtube video 😂 are you still using your wallet? I find the bill compartment is too deep but still not regretting buying it. My iphone 11 pro could fit so i love it so much ❤️
Hehe yeah I purchased it in 2015, but had a request to review the wallet. OMG yes her video influenced me so much as well. YUP, I’m still using the wallet through my rotations. I agree the bill slot is too deep, sometimes some bills fall all the way down and I forget I have it since I rarely use cash. LOL RIGHT? A compact wallet that fits our phones!!! The best! xoxo.
