Every year Sephora enthusiasts awaits for two important dates which is usually during the Spring and Winter: The VIB SALE.
Sephora has three tiers: ROUGE, VIB, and Insider, depending on how much you’ve spent during each calendar year it determines which tier you qualify for. ROUGE is the top tier of them all. With each tier it has their perks, ROUGE gets early access to the sale and 20% off, VIB gets 15% off, and Insiders gets 10% off. Although ROUGE is the best deal, still any percent off is so worth it for Sephora as they only have 2 sales a year.
My status is Sephora ROUGE. During the much anticipated sale, I also try to save up and purchase the more ‘luxury’ and expensive items where 20% off makes a huge impact and also to restock on skincare essentials. I am not huge into makeup, but do have my fair share of supplies. My sisters and I purchased the following item during this sale:
1. PERFUME – Perfume is not cheap and they are rarely ever on sale, so being able to apply 20% off is definitely a deal. I was contemplating between a Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Chanel perfume, however I ended up purchasing the Chanel Chance.
I’m all for gadgets and cool concepts and this is definitely under the category. The twist and spray is perfect for on the go and small enough to put in handbags without extra weight and fearful of spills. Initially it seems like it’s on the pricier side, but it comes with 3 tubes of perfume and the twist and spray so in the end it’s not that bad.

2. SKINCARE – TATCHA and DRUNK ELEPHANT are higher end skincare brands that has worked wonders for me and are (in my opinion) worth it. Even with the higher price tag, I feel like their products does what it implies. Instead of going straight to full sized items, you can always look for kits and trial sizes that are bundled together (it’s usually a great deal)
3. MAKEUP – Re-filling your makeup is always a good idea when there is a sale and you know that you’ll eventually be repurchasing it. It is also a great time to purchase items that has been on your wishlist to test out new products.
