Sooooooo February and March literally just flew by and 1/4 of the year is practically over, but I’m not complaining. Life has been busy, but good so far.
I wanted to share with you all my February and March 2019 sneaker pick ups. As a sneaker collector the mentality of “too many shoes” does not exists. There is always a new release that catches our eyes and attention that is a ‘MUST COP.’
Just because we have so many shoes, it does not mean that we are not enjoying them. Different pairs for different occasion. Different pairs for different outfit.
In February I picked up the following:
AIR JORDAN 1 – BLUE CHILL “UNC PATENT” | $160.00 usd (WMNS)
The Air Jordan 1 released specifically in women’s sizing and they did not disappoint. The colorway, the design even made the men wishing they released in their sizes. But finally a pair for the women. The Air Jordan 1 is such a classic silhouette that it’s hard to pass up when a colorway as nice as these are released.
I was lucky enough to be able to cop two pairs of these in my size! I was so excited. Definitely worth the double up.
The next pair I copped were:
AIR MAX 97 – Have a Nike Day.| $150 usd (GS) | $170 usd (Mens)
Nike celebrates their AIR MAX shoes every year and with doing so they release lots of new air max releases/designs during the month of March. This year, I love the color scheme they came out with. The nice simple pastel is exactly the type of colors I love, so I had to grab myself a pair. I also copped a gray pair, but decided to return those. This par is still available in select store for GS and Men’s such as on Nike.com and Nordstrom.com.
In March I picked up the following:
Nike Air Max 90 – Mars Landing | $160 usd (Mens)
Nike previously released a “Lunar Landing” for their space-theme for the moon. This year, 5 years later, they released Mars Landing. The design is literally ‘out-of-this-world,’ the entire body showcases mars and when photo with flash it is full on 3M reflective.
Depending on particular footsites, you can still find the ‘Have a Nike Day‘ collection for retail, but for the ‘Air Jordan 1 – Blue Chill‘ and ‘Nike Air Max 90 – Mars Landing‘ it may be more difficult, but there has been spottings of the Air Max Mars Landing in store. So it’s worth a shot to call in and ask a sales associate.
