A couple months ago I went to Oahu (Honolulu, Hawaii) for vacation for the second time and once again it did not disappoint. The weather, food, scenery, and people just brought GOOD VIBES. I love visiting Hawaii. Wakiki Beach is amazing. It is definitely one of my top 3 favorite places to visit and I hope to one day be able to go back at least once a year. It may be an island, but there is still so much more to explore.
One of the best part about visiting Hawaii is that many of the luxury brands’ pricing is a lot cheaper than the mainland. Tax on Hawaii is also cheaper for us California folks as well. (WIN – WIN!)
During the time that I went, there were lost of talks about Louis Vuitton canvas pieces being hard to get or discontinued, but I was hopeful. I’ve been eyeing a couple items almost everyday, but the LV site kept saying “CALL FOR AVAILABILITY,” so that was a total bummer.
Louis Vuitton in Hawaii is about 5-10% cheaper than the mainland. So although it is not as cheap as if you were to purchase the items in Europe, it is still a nice savings. I mean here in the mainland the best we have is ‘tax-free’ in Oregon and even then Hawaii is still cheaper.
So upon entering Louis Vuitton, I asked one of the sales associate if they had particular items I was looking for and they technically only had 2 out of 4 items that I inquired about however I did end up leaving with 3. 😛
So the pieces that I now lovingly have in my collection are (I’ve included the Product code/item number for each item in it’s respective photo):

- Louis Vuitton Pocket Organizer in Damier Graphite Canvas
(current price as of 2/13/2019 $350.00usd)- This item I wanted in classic monogram, but opted to get it in this color although it is a ‘mens’ collection color luxury pieces can always be unisex use. I don’t have anything in this color so I wanted to add a small yet classic and simple piece. Plus one day, my BF can inherit this piece. 😛

Those were the three items that I purchased. I really wanted too add a Gucci belt, but they did not have the size and color combination that I wanted. Maybe next time. 🙂
