Ever have a brother or significant other that goes to a fancy event with sneakers on and it looks super awkward, but they insist that it looks good?? Where they hate wearing dress shoes because it is 1.) uncomfortable or 2.) not their style? Well I sure do and when these Air Jordan XI- Cap and Gown (Retail: $250) were debuted to be releasing my brother could not stop talking about them. He kept reminding me to get him a pair day after day and I’ve told him a bajillion times that it has not been released yet. Once it was on the SNKRS, I made sure to set my alarm and be notified.
This pair was released Memorial Weekend, but since Graduation is in FULL effect [‘hence it’s name’] and there are lots of Summer weddings, it is still a good time to grab yourself a pair or even a gift for Father’s Day [It’s never too late for a Father’s Day gift, btw]!
The shoes is dressed in all black with patent and premium nubuck. That shine on the patent leather is no joke and I can’t even complain. Personally, I think the quality of the shoes are really nice and well made for the price point of $250, it is a little on the pricier end but if you are able to wear it to enough events or on a casual day out the cost per wear will quickly be worth it. An all black shoes will match well with practically any outfit.
